2. WHAT ARE YOUR TERMS OF PURCHASE AND PROCEDURE?
Simple. You are qualified if you accept and agree to the below terms. No more LOI/BCL/FCO/POF/POP and those useless documents. They mean nothing! Let's get back to the basic of trading. We send you our full offer after we receive your RFQ. If you accept our offer, we shall proceed to contract review and sign the final contract. And if you don't receive a reply from us, it's time for you to move on.
3. CAN I CHOOSE OTHER JURISDICTIONS AND LEGAL SYSTEMS OTHER THAN SINGAPORE?
No. Singapore law, which has its roots in English law, has now evolved into a distinctive jurisprudence. It continues to absorb and modify the common law as well as best practices from other mature legal systems. Developments in Singapore law reflect an acute awareness of the need to recognize and accommodate current international business and commercial practices. The legal system in Singapore has received numerous international accolades for its efficiency and integrity. As a consequence of this, there is now wide recognition of Singapore as a leading legal hub in Asia.
4. CAN I REQUEST FOR PAST SHIPMENT DOCUMENTS?
No. HEAVENET does not give out past documents (with or without sanctification) because all these documents are deemed to be confidential in all our contracts. This is to protect the identification and privacy of our clients and their interest. In fact, we consider providing past documents too shallow and naive to prove a seller's supply capability and it does not guarantee the seller’s means of supply in the present or future. Furthermore, the documents can be forged using today’s technology and might have been circulating on the internet and changing hands all around the world. Eventually, the person you're dealing with may not be the actual seller, thus wasting your precious time. By the way, we are business people, not detectives.
5. CAN I ASK FOR PHOTOGRAPHS AND SAMPLES?
No. HEAVENET is not a supplier of photographs and samples. Just imagine the impractical scenario of hundreds of clients asking for samples and we, taking hundreds of rocks from the mines for each request.
6. CAN I VISIT THE MINE OR FACTORY?
No. But we do allow port visit to survey the stockpile or loading only when all financial instruments have been setup. We do not want to waste time on window shoppers, and only realize later that they do not want to commit the purchase after the visit. If visit is mandatory, you are required to pay a non-refundable advance administrative fee of US$5,000 for a 3-day visit.
7. CAN I HAVE THE RAW MINERAL BASED ON MY REQUIRED SPECIFICATION?
No. HEAVENET is not the Creator of the minerals. We can’t make or control its specification as if they are manufactured goods, to match yours. REMEMBER, they are natural resources, not steel bars or iphones.
8. DOES HEAVENET TAKE PART IN TENDERS?
No.
9. CAN HEAVENET COME TO MY COUNTRY FOR CONTRACT SIGNING?
No. Due to past bad experiences, make us consider this impractical and waste of time and money. Therefore, once the contract is final and ready to be sealed, we shall either send hardcopies of the signed contract by courier or the client can come to Singapore for the signing.
10. I AM A BROKER. CAN I GET COMMISSION FROM HEAVENET?
Yes. HEAVENET can pay commission minus prevailing tax and bank fees to non-resident brokers for every successful transaction by telegraphic transfer. For more information on tax related issues, please click here. You may check with your local tax authorities for double tax treaty with Singapore.
